Dr. Stacy Sinclair, QSP, CESSWI, ENV SP, EdD is an environmental scientist with Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Over the last three years, she created Metro’s Environmental Construction Awareness Project (www.metro.net/mea) and Growing a Greener Workforce (metro.net/GGW) programs.

As a technical writer, she works on Metro’s sustainability-related reports and website, created and curates USGBC-LA’s Snapshots on Sustainability blog (www.usgbc-la.org/blog), co-authored  Building Healthy Communities (2012) with Dr. Dick Jackson and Building Resilience LA: A Primer (2017) with Heather Rosenberg.

As a consultant, she evaluates large scale assessment programs and creates interactive eLearning environments and educational experiences for K-12. Current efforts focus on construction practices, with a specific lens toward waste and stormwater
management.

She recently received Metro’s Certificate for Excellence in innovation and teamwork (2020). She is an Environmental Leadership Fellow (2018) and Aspen Institute Fellow (2017). Her recent research on Aeolian transport as a mitigation strategy for sea level rise received the Academy of Sciences Excellence Award (2017).
