Porus is a regional leader for Stantec’s Sustainability & Building Performance practice. With a Master’s of Science in Building Design and Climatic Responsive Architecture from Arizona State University, Porus’ practice focuses on sustainable building design and operations; leading a multidisciplinary group of engineers, and experts with a focus on high performance, energy efficient built environments. Porus brings his leadership and his thorough understanding of energy and thermal systems to his role as Project Manager on high performance buildings. He has over fourteen years of experience in the building industry and has worked on some of the largest Net Zero projects in the world including the 361,700-SF Design Build Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), East Campus-Operations Center (EC–OC) & the Research Support Facility project at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) which, at 370,000 square feet, is considered the largest proven LEED Platinum, Zero Energy Building in the world. He is a member of the Northern California Chapter of United States Green Building Council and BEMP (Building Energy Modeling Professional) certified.
