Through a varied international career, Elena Bondareva (MA, BS: Cornell University) has amassed a solid track record of transformative innovation around persistent problems. Elena has held public, private, teaching and Board roles in Australia, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, India, and the US; delivered CPD training to thousands of professionals; participated in globally significant events such as COP17, G20, and World Green Building Council Congress; published in peer-reviewed and public journals; and presented at countless conferences. Today, through CETEC (an independent international building science consultancy), she is focused on reconciling any perceived conflicts between occupant wellbeing and the environmental impact of the built environment because informed self-interest, supported by policy, can and must drive high performing and restorative built environment.
