Corinne Ralph

Head of Transit Operations
LADOT
Los Angeles, CA

Corinne Ralph is the Chief of Transit Programs with the Department of Transportation in the City of Los Angeles. For over 15 years and in various capacities, she has led the transformation of the local bus circulator system (known as DASH) as well as the AM and PM peak commuter bus service (Commuter Express) in the city. With over 370 buses in its fleet, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is the largest municipal operator of bus services in Southern California and second to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) in the number of buses operated.

Ralph is committed to the vision of operating a sustainable, low / zero emission bus fleet. The LADOT has led the region in experimenting with lower- and zero-emission buses since the early 2000s, when it first demonstrated and operated in hybrid electric and electric DASH buses. Now all of the vehicles in its current fixed route fleet are alternatively fueled, lower emission buses.
