Sustainability Director, WAP Sustainability
Webly Bowles is a Sustainability Director at WAP Sustainability. As a licensed architect, her sustainable building experience includes principles of design, construction, and operation. She has developed sustainable and energy efficiency building programs for global fortune 500 companies and state-wide programs alike, providing measurable results. Webly leads WAP’s special projects where she brings her systems thinking approach to carbon program development. She develops and interprets technical requirements to provide actionable steps for implementation at any level. Prior to joining WAP, Webly led NBI’s carbon lifecycle research, created embodied carbon codes and standard strategies, and supported jurisdictions to meet their greenhouse gas emission goals. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. In 2024, Webly was appointed to serve Oregon’s governor on the Oregon Sustainability Board.
