Sophie is a structural engineer with 18 years of experience in façades and sustainability. She founded Digne in 2024 to advance decarbonization in the built environment, supporting both manufacturers and non-profits. Digne’s work includes glass supply-chain LCAs, recycling research and innovation, carbon-informed design and procurement support for manufacturers such as Enclos, along with other circularity initiatives. Her career spans from consulting (RFR, GNA, SHoP Construction, Arup) to contracting with Enclos in 2018, where she led the company’s sustainability efforts until 2024, culminating in Enclos’ first custom curtainwall EPDs. In 2025, Digne was selected for the USGBC-CA Net Zero Accelerator cohort, a program advancing innovative companies reducing carbon in the built environment, giving Digne a platform to scale its impact and work with industry leaders on decarbonization.

Since 2021, Sophie has served as Adjunct Faculty at SCI-Arc, teaching Structures, Facade Tectonics, and Embodied Carbon. On the Board of Directors of the Facade Tectonics Institute, she established the FTI Carbon research group, initiated the WUI Fire Facades workgroup, and expanded FTI’s educational programming. In 2023, she received the US Glass Sustainability Award in the individual category, recognizing her contributions through research, publications, advocacy, and education.
