Selin is a Sustainability Coordinator at CannonDesign in Los Angeles, where she supports the delivery of high-performance buildings through integrated design and advanced building performance simulations. Her work focuses on daylight analysis, energy modeling, thermal and visual comfort analysis, water efficiency strategies, and sustainability certification frameworks across complex building typologies, including healthcare and institutional facilities. Selin holds a Master of Building Science with an emphasis in Sustainable Design from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Bilgi University. Accredited in LEED and WELL building standards, she is currently pursuing her architectural licensure in the US. Prior to joining CannonDesign, Selin contributed to research and project initiatives focused on whole-life carbon balancing and net-zero buildings. She remains a dedicated advocate for practical, data-driven approaches that achieve regenerative built environments.
