Lisa Salgado

Construction Project Manager, California State University, Long Beach (CSULB)

Lisa graduated with a BS in Construction Engineering Management from CSULB.  Before joining the CSULB Design and Construction team, she worked in residential construction before transitioning into commercial construction.  During her time working in the private sector, she worked on variety of K-12 education projects, and also the renovation of the science building at Cal Poly Pomona.  In 2008, Lisa started with CSULB as an Assistant Construction Manager on the construction of their new Hall of Science building.  Since then she has been the Construction Manager on several major capital projects on campus including, the new CPIE (College of Professional and International Education) building, which was CSULB’s first NZE and LEED Platinum classroom building.  Most recently she project and construction managed the new Parkside North student dormitories, LEED Platinum, NZE,  and LBC Energy, Place and Beauty Petal, which was concurrently built with the new Housing and Residential Life Administrative Office, also LEED Platinum, NZE, and the first Living Building Challenge fully certified office building for the CSU system.
