Linda Young, a native of Australia, discovered her love for second-hand and unique items at an early age. As a teenager, she spent weekends exploring op shops (Australian for thrift stores), estate sales, and garage sales, hunting for hidden treasures — a passion for repurposing preloved goods that stayed with her throughout her life. After more than two decades building a successful career in retail management and global brand development, Linda stepped back from her profession to focus on her growing family. In 2017, her journey took a new direction when she began volunteering at a nonprofit thrift store organization in California. The experience deepened her commitment to sustainability and charitable work, igniting a profound passion for recycling and giving back to the community. In 2020, she was elected Board President of the organization, channeling her efforts toward reducing waste and saving as much as possible from ending up in landfills. Linda cherishes the stories behind second-hand items and finds joy in bringing them new life and new homes. She lives in California with her husband and two children, and in her free time, you'll find her creating jewelry.
