Kristen Salinas is a sustainability leader with 18 years of experience integrating sustainable design into new buildings and guiding teams toward high‑performance certification outcomes. Her civil engineering background gives her a strong command of site planning, energy and water systems, and strategies to reduce embodied carbon in structural materials. Kristen has worked extensively with Southern California utilities to advance Title 24, Part 6 energy code compliance and support continuous improvement programs. She also leads education and outreach for locally adopted reach codes, helping communities push building performance beyond state requirements and accelerate progress toward zero net energy goals. She currently supports LEED and Envision construction-phase tracking for major airport and transportation projects across the country. As a native Californian, she is proud to contribute to projects that strengthen California’s leadership in energy efficiency, sustainability, and climate‑forward design.
