Jim Ogden

Principal, 3QC

Jim Ogden is a Principal at 3QC, an independent commissioning firm, and brings 36 years of experience focused on the environmental design, construction and management of sustainable facilities for public, private, and not-for-profit clients across the country. Jim successfully led our team in commissioning SoFi Stadium, among many other iconic sports facilities, and currently leading 3QC’s commissioning effort on the Intuit Dome project in Inglewood, California. In addition to his extensive first-hand experience with sports venues, Jim understands how to navigate the inside track to best help clients achieve their green building goals through identifying high performance criteria that has supported over 30 Zero Net Energy projects and nearly 300 LEED projects. His thorough knowledge of how to integrate quality-based commissioning with these benchmarking systems enables clients to attain compliance with code regulations while also achieving the highest level of certification matched to their goals. Since graduating from Texas A&M University, he has dedicated his career to building a more sustainable world and received his first LEED AP certification in 2002. In 2011, Jim was distinguished as a LEED Fellow as part of the 34-member inaugural class elected by his peers.
