Regional Leader of Healthcare, HOK
With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Hunvey has been part of every major recent healthcare project in the Los Angeles office during her 20-year tenure at HOK. As the Regional Leader of Healthcare, Hunvey is responsible for ensuring that projects meet their goals at all levels – visioning, project development, construction, and implementation. Hunvey has played a key role in expanding HOK’s presence in the Southern California region, with project commissions under her tenure such as; UCLA Neuropsychiatric Replacement Hospital, Mark Ridley-Thomas Behavioral Health Center and City of Hope Orange County Specialty Cancer Hospital. She is currently overseeing projects totaling $1B in construction costs including acute care and behavioral health projects. Highly respected among her peers in the Architectural world, she has also made a name for herself within the entire AEC community. She is always pushing for higher standards, spaces that promote healing and the true “care” within healthcare.
