Grecia Sanchez Arredondo is a student of Environmental Engineering at Mt. San Antonio College and a sustainability intern with Mt. SAC Sustainability. She has also served as intern with the Energize Colleges program, in collaboration with Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI) and Southern California Edison. She is currently working on the college’s greenhouse gas inventory, supporting Mt. SAC’s efforts to track and reduce campus emissions to net zero by 2050. In addition to her internship, Grecia has volunteered for sustainability events on campus, promoting environmental awareness and education. She is passionate about using engineering to drive innovation, improve processes and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by advancing clean energy solutions, sustainable infrastructure, and climate action to help build a more resilient and sustainable future.
