Dr. Carmen Blackwood is a research scientist who spent her career at NASA JPL at the intersection of science and space technology to provide key insights into the world’s most pressing problems such as climate change and consequences for an intensifying water cycle. She earned degrees in mathematics (MSc) and physics (PhD) at the University of Bremen, Germany. Her work in climate research has driven her to explore innovative climate solutions that work in harmony with nature to regenerate our home planet. She co-founded and is the current CEO of EarthRise LLC where we apply technology and science to support the creation of not only a sustainable but thriving future for Earth.
