Daniel Soltero is a Program Manager for the Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG) and Inland Regional Energy Network (I-REN), and a Board Member for the Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition (LGSEC). He joined WRCOG in 2018 and is responsible for planning and implementation of energy efficiency and resiliency programs and initiatives. Previously, Daniel implemented WRCOG’s Regional Streetlight Program, a Smart Streetlight Implementation Plan & Broadband Assessment, and most recently the Energy Resilience Plan 1 and ERP 2.0. Currently, he serves as SoCalGas Regional Energy Pathways Ambassador for the Inland Empire, and works on the I-REN’s Codes & Standards and Public sectors. Daniel holds a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside, and has interests in energy, environment, and climate adaptation.
