Damian Lomeli is a Career Advisor and Employer Engagement Coordinator at West Los Angeles College, where he supports students in healthcare and workforce development pathways. As a first-generation college graduate, Damian is passionate about helping students navigate higher education, career exploration, and professional success. Damian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Saint Mary, where he competed as a collegiate baseball student-athlete. He later earned a Master of Science in Educational School Counseling from National University with an emphasis on community college counseling. In addition to his work in career services, Damian serves as an adjunct instructor, teaching Work Experience courses that help students develop career readiness skills and connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities. Throughout his career, he has worked with diverse student populations, including first-generation, low-income, and system-impacted students, providing guidance on career planning, internships, employment, and personal development.
