Passionate about sustainable design, Celina is actively involved in advancing sustainability both in architectural practice and within office operations. She plays a key role in advancing Sillman’s sustainability goals, AIA 2030 Commitment reporting, the integration of Cove Tool across multiple projects, and firm-wide sustainability initiatives. She represents her firm at sustainability-focused events and organizations, such as SD COTE Committee, Net Zero Conferences, Sustainable Lab Conferences, and New School Eco Charettes, continuously expanding her knowledge and staying engaged in high-performance building strategies.
Celina integrates Passive Design, Net Zero Energy (NZE) principles, embodied carbon reduction, mass timber solutions, and biophilic design into her work, always seeking opportunities to create more efficient and resilient built environments. Her passion for sustainability extends beyond project work, influencing office operations through zero-waste initiatives such as composting, resource efficiency strategies, and fostering an environmentally conscious workplace culture.
