Aura Vasquez is Founder of Vasquez Impact Solutions where she provides government relations and advises companies and organizations on decarbonization strategies. As former Commissioner of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, she shaped policies affecting the nation's largest municipal utility. Aura also chaired the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter's Climate Action Committee, leading building electrification initiatives across Southern California. As steering committee member for LA Climate Week, She focus on organizing and story telling as a way to elevate environmental issues and mentor the new generation or environmental stewards. She loves nature, music festival, and trains as a Latin Jazz dancer.
