A sustainability consultant with over twenty-five years' experience in sustainable design and construction, Angi adeptly leads project teams through the sustainability implementation process and is passionate about implementing a holistic and pragmatic approach to all projects. Sustainability must be integrated and feasible, with all team members at the table collaboratively developing project-specific sustainable solutions, no matter how large or complicated the project. She has led projects globally through the strategic environmental impact planning and sustainable design and construction processes on a wide variety of government and commercial projects. Former roles have included: BREEAM consultant in the UK, Regional Sustainability Practice Leader of one of the world’s largest A/E firms and Managing Director of a small woman-owned sustainability consulting firm. As Sellen Construction’s Sustainability Director since 2021, Angi oversees the company’s strategic sustainability direction and enables Sellen project teams to deliver spaces that meet or exceed client sustainability goals; from compliance strategy, to certifications, to embodied carbon analysis. Passionate that sustainability challenges cannot be solved in a vacuum, Angi is active in industry and peer networks and strives to facilitate and contribute to multi-disciplinary conversations and solutions.
