Simulation Team Lead, Cyclone Energy Group
Amir is an engineer, a PhD and a self-proclaimed energy data geek. As the Simulation Team Leader at Cyclone Energy Group, Amir is continually pushing the boundary of performance modeling and analytics to support the design of high- performance buildings. Specifically, Amir is advancing parametric modeling, optimization and data visualization workflows to enhance building design decisions during early design and continue supporting through the project lifecycle by providing insights on energy, cost and carbon emissions to meet and exceed our clients’ needs. Amir’s numerical simulation approach is complemented by his creative and collaborative approach to team integration and project management. He is known for bringing design ideas to the table as well as simplifying the technical performance data into actionable information for project stakeholders, while nourishing the strength of each team member for better overall project outcomes. His professional goal is to help integrate performance analytics within the building design process to accelerate the adoption of net-zero and positive-energy designs at scale.
