Alan Ohnsman is an award-winning journalist based in Los Angeles and a Forbes senior editor covering cleantech and advanced transportation. He authors the Current Climate newsletter, highlighting promising clean energy developments, and has covered Tesla and Elon Musk since 2006. He previously spent 15 years withBloomberg News, at its Los Angeles and Tokyo bureaus, in addition to stints as a reporter and editor atBusinessweek, Asahi Evening News and Tokyo Journal. Alan has a graduate degree in journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in English from Ohio Wesleyan University. When not at his computer, he can be found playing drums and singing for indie rock duo Combo Villains.
