Meet the Final Addition to the NZ26 Keynote Lineup

We’re proud to welcome Marcene Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Climate Change at World Wildlife Fund, to the 2026 Net Zero Conference as our final keynote speaker.

Marcene advances WWF’s U.S. and global climate agenda, strengthening connections between climate mitigation and resilience with a focus on nature-based solutions. Her crosscutting work reflects the urgent need for bold, integrated approaches to addressing the climate crisis.

Previously, Marcene served as Head of Climate Strategy and Business Development at the IFC, where she pioneered market transformation initiatives in low-carbon technologies, including resource efficiency, distributed solar, offshore wind, and waste and water management. She is Chairperson of the Montgomery County Green Bank Board of Directors and holds degrees from Brown University and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
