Sandra Rhee is the Project Engineer for the Santa Monica City Services Building, which is one of select buildings in the state pursuing the Living Building Challenge – the world’s most stringent green building rating system. For this unique net zero and water building, Sandra oversees the project’s document control system and processes all material submittals. Passionate about sustainable construction, Sandra is committed to using her experience and knowledge of construction management to build healthier communities that are safe and profitable for all. She also serves as the co-chair of project engineers for the Southern CA branch of Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Co. and the chair of the LA-Living Building Challenge Place and Water Committee.
Sandra earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 2017. She currently lives in Culver City, CA where she actively works on her vegetable plot in the neighborhood’s community garden.
