Justin graduated from the University of Maryland with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 and moved to Los Angeles to join the front line in sustainable design. Justin’s focus spans all market sectors, having worked on sustainability projects in the healthcare, commercial, higher education, transportation, residential, and hospitality industries. While each market sector requires different design strategies, Justin approaches every project with the same principal: how to design a space that leaves no negative impact on the environment. This is evident through his involvement in the design and analysis of two Net Zero projects in Los Angeles that are pursuing Living Building Challenge Petal Certification.
As an Ambassador presenter for the International Living Future Institute, Justin is a determined advocate and educator of the Living Building Challenge with the goal of creating a Living built environment in Los Angeles.
